The Sabetha Bluejays baseball team clinched their second straight Big 7 League Title on Wedensday night with a sweep over Royal Valley.
Sabetha beat the Panthers 8-0 in game one and 9-5 in game two to finish league play at 12-2 while improving their overall record to 14-5.
Sabetha has been in and out of the 3A rankings this season from the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches.
Since starting the season 0-3, Sabetha has won 14 of their last 16 games and that included a 10-game winning streak.
Sabetha finished 12-2 last season in league play and 19-5 overall, won the 3A Regional Tournament they hosted, and qualified for the State Tournament. Sabetha would go on to lose in the first round to Wichita Collegiate by a 3-1 final.
Sabetha will close out their regular season schedule on Thursday at Rossville.
