Sabetha Boys Golf Win Big 7 Team Title While a Pair of Holton Wildcats Finish Top Two

The Sabetha boys golf team won the Big 7 League Tournament at Lake Perry Country Club on Monday afternoon finishing with a score of 315. 

Holton finished in second place with a season best score of 327 which included the top two finishes. Brody Meyer won the individual league title with a score of 74 while his teammate Korben Fox finished runner-up with a score of 75. 

The Bluejays posted the four best scores after the top two with Cole Moore with a 77, Cole Grimes with a 79, Cullen Wikle with a 79, and Roman Scoby with an 80. 

Jefferson West (361), Nemaha Central (372), Hiawatha (394), and Perry-Lecompton (407) rounded out the team scores. 

Other notable top 10 finishes include Nemaha Central's Layton Thomas (81), Gage Moser of Jefferson West (81), Hiawatha's Aden Grathwohl (83), and Maverick Hug of Holton (84).
