Jackson Heights Cobras took on the McLouth Bulldogs last night in a dominating game, with the Cobras taking the final score of 57-0. This is the third straight week Jackson Heights has dropped over 50+ points on an opponent while holding them to zero.
During the First quarter of the match, McLouth won the coin toss and elected to receive. Jan Ludvick for the Jackson Heights Cobras kicked the ball off the Bulldogs’ way. After some offensive struggles, the ball was handed over to the Cobras where it was possessed for most of the quarter. The first quarter ended at a 21-0 Jackson Heights lead.
During the second quarter, the Cobras kept the possession of the football for an extensive amount of time over their opponent once again. The Cobras sought all sorts of scorers with touchdowns from Titan Eisenbarth, Titus Eisenbarth, Kade Holliday, and Drake Mellies. Once Halftime hit, the Cobras were up 42-0, just like their last game against Horton.
Entering in the third quarter, things were continuously going strong for the Cobras. A running clock started to roll, meaning that the window for points was closing for the Bulldogs as the Cobras kept consistently putting points on the board. The Third quarter ended at 50-0, with Cobras continuing to dominate the gridiron.
The final quarter was approaching, and so was a victory for the Cobras. The Fourth quarter went quite well as the Cobras settled down with seven more points to finish off the night with a touchdown made by Drake Mellies and a PAT executed by Jan Ludvick. The night came to a close with a final score of 57-0, Jackson Heights won.
Jackson Heights after the win now improves to 4-0 on the year and in league play they improve also to 4-0, Jackson Heights is set to play Pleasant Ridge next week. McLouth now falls to 2-2 on the year, which is still a solid year for the McLouth as they will look to bounce back against Valley Falls next week.
