The Kansas Volleyball Association have released their updated rankings for the first week of October.

Holton is still ranked in Class 4A but they dropped one spot this week from #7 to #8.

Nemaha Central holds true in Class 3A at #2 behind only Beloit. The Thunder are coming off another tournament win this past weekend and have only lost twice so far this season.

Silver Lake moved up one spot to #8 while Royal Valley enters the rankings for the first time this season at #9 in 3A.

Valley Heights moved up one spot in Class 2A to #5 while Rossville is ranked #9.

Centralia is up a couple of spots in Class 1A-I at #3 behind only Little River and Spearville. The Panthers were ranked #1 earlier in the season and dropped down as far as #5 in previous rankings.

No change for Hanover in Class 1A-II as the Wildcats continue to hold the top spot as the top four remained the same with Lebo, Ingalls, and Attica following Hanover in the ranks this week.
