Nemaha Boys Improve to 3-0 with Another Route

Nemaha Central 54, Holton 37

Despite only a few team practices following a third straight state football title game, the Nemaha Central boys have dominated their first three oponents. The Thunder led 18-10 after one quarter and 34-20 at halftime before cruising to the road Big East victory. NC had nine players score and hit eight three-pointers. 

Not only does Nemaha Central have great depth, but they have showcase great size with four starters 6'2 or taller and defended really well allowing Holton just five made field goals in the first half. Evan Olberding scored 12 points and was one of five Thunder players that connected from beyond the arc. Caleb Strathman added 9 points off the bench.

Holton was led by Brayden Peek with all 14 of his points in the first half while Bodie Dillon scored 10 of his 12 for all of the Wildcat points in the third period and Luke Lassey added 8 points before Holton fell to 0-3.
