The Holton boys wrestling team took home a fourth place finish over the weekend at the Baldwin Invitational Tournament.
The Wildcats finished with 141 points finishing behind only Tonganoxie (231), Santa Fe Trail (159), and Louisburg (152). There were 19 total teams in the tournament.
Jefferson West finished in 14th place while Perry-Lecompton would finish in 15th place.
Tyson Carlson of Holton finished in second place at 106 losing to Rowdey Starcher of Tonganoxie in the title match by second round pinfall.
Lucas Batz won the tournament at 120 pounds defeating Tyler Chrisp of Tonganoxie by a 2-0 decision in the title match.
Sean Morrissey finished in second place at 126 losing to Drake Kirby of Santa Fe Trail in the title match by a 11-3 majority decision.
Karson Kahler of Jefferson West finished in fourth place at 132 pounds while Ethan Tolbert of Perry-Lecompton took home a seventh place finish at 138.
Justin Booth of Perry-Lecompton finished in seventh place at 144 pounds while Chance Gray finished in fifth place at 165.
Holton's Kyler Jackson finished in first place at 190 and has been one of the top wrestlers in the classification winning by pinfall over Broderick Desch of Hayden in the title match.
Taven Dick added a second place finish at 215 pounds losing to Ashton Moore of Louisburg in the title match by a 10-6 decision.
Osiris Unruh of Jefferson West continued his tremendous season winning the 285 pound weight class defeating Josh Goodwin of Prairie View by second round pinfall in the title match.
