ACCHS Boys Wrestling Capture NEKL Championship

The ACCHS boys wrestling team won the Northeast Kansas League Championship on Thursday night at home. 

The Tigers dominated the tournament finishing with 138 points while Riverside finished in second place with 62 points. 

Pleasant Ridge (39), McLouth (20), Maur Hill-Mount Academy (19), Oskaloosa (19), D-West/Hiawatha/Troy (7.5), and Horton (0) rounded out the team standings. 

ACCHS won the league championship last season scoring just 75 points and finishing ahead of Pleasant Ridge who finished in second with 57 points. They also finished with nine individual champions this season compared to six last season.
