Defending State Champion Axtell Boys Post 200 Points Winning Early Invitational at Valley Heights

On Tuesday, April 8, Valley Heights hosted their Early Invitational Track and Field Meet and the defending State Champion Axtell boys posted 200 points on their way to winning the event. 

Frankfort would finish in second place with 72 points while Marysville finished in third place with 69 points. 

Valley Heights finished with 58 points, Hanover finished with 54.5 points, Linn finished with 49.5 points, Centralia and Southern finished with 30 points, Onaga finished with 22 points, and Troy finished with 21 points. 

On the girls side it was Marysville who won the event as the Bulldogs finished with 159 points while Centralia finished in second place with 79 points. 

Hanover finished in third place with 72 points followed by Axtell with 61 points, Valley Heights with 54 points, Frankfort with 49 points, Southern with 41 points, Onaga with 32 points, Troy with 24 points, and Linn with 22 points.
