Nemaha Central senior quarterback Carter Hajek continued his fantastic start to 2025 as he rushed for 265 yards and four touchdowns in the Thunder's 42-7 win against Silver Lake.
Hajek averaged over 10 yards per carry against the Eagles and was shedding tackles all night.
Through two games in 2025, Carter has rushed for 371 yards averaging over eight yards per carry with six touchdowns.
Carter holds mutliple Nemaha Central records including rushing yards in a career, rushing yards in a season, rushing touchdowns in a season, career rushing touchdowns, interceptions in a season, and career interceptions.
Carter is also a two-time Sports in Kansas 2A Offensive Player of the Year.
NC is off to a 2-0 start and ranked #2 in Class 2A according to K-Preps.
