Maria Carillo

Maur Hill-Mount Academy junior golfer Maria Carillo is off to a strong start in 2025 with a tournament win at Holton last week. 

Maria won the tournament with a round of 79 which was seven strokes better than the second place finisher. It helped the Ravens finish second place in the team standings behind only Wamego. 

Maria also has a second place finish in the other tournament she has played in this season. 

Maria is from Mexico and is a first-year student at MH-MA. 

Head coach Eddie Gibson: "Maria has the most infectious smile, an amazing attitude and a determination to be the best she can. Maria hopes to continue to lower her scores and become an even more amazing golfer."
