Biltoff's Career Night Leads Jeff West to Win Over Riverside
Kristin Biltoff

After suffering a pair of losses to Sabetha and Perry Lecompton before the holiday break the Jeff West girls’ basketball team was looking for a bounce back performance Friday night against Riverside.

The Tigers got just that and more from junior Kristin Biltoff as she poured in a career-high 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting in Jeff West’s 53-34 win over the Cyclones.

Not only was the scoring of Biltoff on display but she showed why she is one of the best players in the Big 7 hitting four 3-pointers while nearly registering a triple-double with 9 steals and 8 assists plus 6 rebounds.

It was her second 20-plus point game of the season and sixth of her career after scoring 22 in the loss to Perry.

On the season Biltoff is filling up the stat sheet on a nightly basis scoring just over 15 points per game while pulling down six rebounds, dishing out three assists and collecting over three steals a night.

Last season Biltoff was just as good averaging over 13 points, nearly four rebounds, five steals and three assists per game.

She was named a unanimous Big 7 all-league selection a year and garnered all-state recognition from Sports in Kansas and the Wichita Eagle.

Biltoff will look to continue her strong play and lead the Tigers back on the right back as Jeff West is scheduled to travel to Royal Valley Tuesday night.
