Corissa Bandel

The McLouth softball team is looking to make some noise in the postseason as they’re playing as good as any team in the area in recent weeks.

Corissa Bandel is a big part of the Bulldogs success as she has been dominate all season.

At the plate, Corissa is hitting a whopping .574 with an on-base percentage of .641 while tallying 23 stolen bases this season.

On the mound, Corissa has thrown three perfect games this season against Atchison, Horton, and Osawatamie. Her ERA is 0.808, she’s struck out 72 batters in 43 innings pitched, and opponents are hitting just .144 when she’s inside the circle.

McLouth is currently 14-3 overall this season and 10-0 in NEKL play as they’re set to lock up the league title and finish second in the regional standings with undefeated Troy potentially being the team in their way to make the State Tournament.

The Bulldogs have won four straight and six of their last seven and they’ve outscored their opponents 54-3 in their last four games.
