Jesse Hoover

Washington County junior Jesse Hoover won the javelin event at the 84th Beloit Relays last week. The throw of 139-10 broke the 1A/2A division meet record which dated back to 2003. She’s been one of the top throwers among all classes as her personal best throw in the javelin is 144-7.

Jesse also holds the meet record for the 1A/2A division at the Belleville Lions Club Invite, the Washington County school record, and was a big contributor to the State Title team from last season in the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams along with throwing the javelin in which she finished in fourth place.
