The Atchison girls had the only area runners competing on Saturday in Wamego in Class 4A State cross country action and the lady Redmen finished with a fourth place team performance. 

Atchison finished just one-point behind Wichita-Trinity who took third as a team in the girls competition in Class 4A State cross country. Senior, Sarah Jaloma paced Atchison finished third with a time of 19:34.10 to cap off her great high school cross country career. 

Emily Jaloma had the second best performance for the lady Redmen as she finished 24th, while Teagan Hanson finished 33rd, Hailey Macierowski 40th, Lyndi Hanson 53rd, Skyler Blakley 56th and Haley Griebat 87th.
