The Kansas City-Atchison League released all-league volleyball selections earlier this week and the Atchison Lady Red were well represented.

Makenzie Dougherty was named the league’s player of the year as the senior setter led the Lady Red to an undefeated KCAL Championship with a record of 10-0, while compiling a 55-25 overall record as a two year starter.

Dougherty was also a KCA first team selection along with junior Jaihlyn Bratton.
