The track season rolled along for Marysville on Friday as they competed in the Concordia Invitational along with seven other schools and earned fifth and sixth place team finishes for the boys and girls, respectively.

Two individual first place performances led the way for Marysville at the Concordia Invitational as Dayne Brown and Claire Cudney each brought home gold. Brown leapt his way to a mark of 21'04.75 to earn first place in the long jump, while Cudney ran her way to the 100 meter hurdles title behind a time of 15.69.

The Bulldog boys had three guy's grabbed silver medals as James Montgomery took second in the 200 meter dash, Chase Green tossed his way to the silver in the javelin and Adam Lindhorst recorded the second best shot put throw of the day. For the lady Bulldogs they had one second place finish and that was the 4x800 meter relay team.

Montgomery added to his second place finish in the 200 with a bronze medal in the 100 meter dash, while Bryant Scott took third in the boys 3200 meter run and both the boys and girls 4x100 meter relay teams picked third place finishes, also.

Marysville continues their track season on Tuesday, April 12th when they travel to the Smith Center Invitational.
