The crowd at J C Harmon High School was there to share in Senior Night for the Hawks.  They also shared in a historic night for Atchison High as the Redmen completed a sweep of the KCAL and became its undedeated Champion with a 55-27 win in Kansas City, KS Friday night.

AHS scored on its first 4 possessions and had taken a 42-0 lead at halftime.  The second half saw Harmon battle back and allowed Atchison to utilize its bench strength.

With the win, Jim Smith earned his 100th victory as a Head Coach, all at his alma mater, while the Redmen have won 17-straight KCAL games and the third straight League title by going unbeaten in League play.

Next Friday, Atchison High continues its quest for an undefeated season it its first District game as they travel to Tonganoxie to face the Chieftans.
