The Nemaha Central boys golf team won the Big East League Pre-Season Tournament at Cypress Ridge on Monday afternoon.
The Thunder finished the tournament with a team score of 326 while Sabetha finished in second place with a score of 329.
Jefferson West and Perry-Lecompton tallied scores of 348, Silver Lake finished with a score of 349, St. Mary's finished with a score of 356, and Rossville finished with a score of 365.
Perry-Lecompton's Toby Wagner was the individual champion with a 4-over round of 74 while Nemaha Central's Brady Koch and Sabetha's Gavin Wedel finished right behind with rounds of 79.
Rounding out the top five was Brody Kelley of Silver Lake and Jack Donovan of Rossville each posting a 10-over round of 80. Complete tournament results can be found here.
