Silver Lake Volleyball

The Silver Lake volleyball team captured the Class 3A Championship in Hutchinson defeating Holton in straight sets in the title match. 

The Eagles were the top ranked team all season and finished 46-1 while also taking down the Big East league title. 

The team was littered with all-league and all-state team selections this season with all-league honors going to Kylie Hanni (1st team), Jaylie Whitehead (1st team), Jaiden Wise (2nd team), Paige Heiman (3rd team), and Karys Deiter (honorable mention). 

Hanni, Whitehead, and Wise were named to the 3A All-State team by the Kansas Volleyball Association. 

It was Silver Lake's 10th volleyball state title in school history. They finished the season with 37 straight wins with their only loss coming at the hands of Shawnee Heights on Sept. 11.
