Sabetha Wins Big Seven Golf Quad at Jeff West in Tight Battle with Nemaha Valley & Jeff West

Four Big Seven League schools faced off against each and the wind on the golf course on Monday and it proved to be a tight race for the tournament crown with the Sabetha Bluejays coming out on top in the nine-hole competition.

The top team finish didn't come easy for the Bluejays as they took home the crown behind a team score of 164 only one stroke better than Jeff West who finished second with a 165 and two-strokes better than third place finishers, Nemaha Valley who tallied a 166 on the day. Rounding out the action the Royal Valley Panthers took a fourth finish with a team score of 204.

Individually it was Nemaha Valley earning two of the top three spots with Caleb Meyer having the best day with a 37 to grab first place, while his teammate Zach Bradley took home third behind a 39. Sandwiched in between the two Raiders was Sabetha Bluejay, Nolan Keim who took home second place after shooting a 38. Jeff West Tigers, Austin Eckhardt and Avery Farrant and Tyler Ulrich of Sabetha all tallied a 40 on the day allowing them to finish fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively in the Big Seven League Quad at Jeff West.
