Auburn senior Tierra Williams set a new Class B triple jump record Monday going 40 feet, 2 inches at Plattsmouth.  The leap is the fourth best all time for a Nebraska High School girl.

In addition to her triple jump win on Monday Williams also won the 100 meters in 12.2 and the long jump going 17-7-1/4.   She did not participate in the 200 meter final.

Williams is the defending Class B state champion in the 100 meters.  She also won the triple jump at state in 2012 and was second in the 200 meters and the long jump.

In 2011 she was state champion in the long mump and 5th in the 100 meters.  As a freshman she was third in the long jump, 7th in the 100 and 6th at state in the 200 meters.
