Irish Invitational Track Results

 Omaha Christian Academy won the girls side of the Irish Invitational track meet in Syracuse Tuesday scoring 85 points.  Pawnee City was second with 78, Sterling third with 74 and Sacred Heart was fourth with 67.  Johnson-Brock finished seventh with 49 points, Lourdes Central Catholic was 8th, and Syracuse 9th in the 11 team field.

Douglas County West won the boys meet with 91 points, Sacred Heart was second with 87, Sterling placed third with 86, Pawnee City was fourth with 51.  Lourdes Central was 9th, Lewiston 11th, Johnson-Brock 12th and Syracuse 13th.

Individually: 

Sacred Heart – Girls – Maggie Goltz three medals – 1st in long jump; 2nd in triple jump and 5th in 400 meters

Boys – Will Burenheide – 1st - 110 meter hurdles;  4th – 300 meter hurdles;

Clay Finck – 3rd in both the 100 and 200 meters

Chaz Dunn – 1st – 800 meters

Sean Strasheim – 1st – pole vault;

 Pawnee City – Girls – Shelby Hundley – 1st – 300 meter hurdles; 1st – 200 meters;  2nd – 100 meter hurdles;  2nd – 100 meters;

Jenna Habegger – 2nd – discus;  3rd – shot put

Boys – Austin Smith – 1st – high jump;  1st – triple jump;  6th – long jump

Scott Borcher – 2nd – discus and shot put;

Sterling – Girls – Jazzy Eickhoff – 1st – shot put;

Jordan Lempka – 1st – discus; 4th – shot put;

Tara Hestermann – 1st – 1600 meters;

4x800 relay team – 1st 

Boys – Chris Wenzl – 1st – 300 meter hurdles; 3rd – 110 meter hurdles’

Ben Logston – 1st – 3200 meters

Kody Benson – 1st – shot put;  3rd – discus;
