The Mound City Boys golf team is headed for the state tournament in Bolivar on Monday and Tuesday.  The Panthers won the sectional meet with a team score of 369, three shots better than second place Gallatin. The State Tournament will  be playe dat the Silo Ridge Golf Club.

Members of the Panther team headed to state are Kelton Kurtz, Luke Sanders, James Walker, Miles Loucks and Hayden Marrs.  

Hayden Marrs led the Panthers at sectional play with a round of 17 over par which placed him 10th,  Kelton Kurtz tied for 11th with an 18 over score.

Tristan Ray of Craig was the medalist with a score of 7 over par.  Derek Rohlfsen of Tarkio tied with Ray at 7-over.

Bryan Evans of Rock Port qualifies for the individual portion of the tournament with a score of 18 over at sectionals. Ray, Rohlfsen and Austin Alitz of Rock Port also qualify for the individual competition.
