Peru State College senior Jordan Schaardt of Humboldt won the individual title at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship, held Monday and Tuesday.
Schaardt shot rounds of 87 and 96 for a two-day total of 183 to tie for first place with Rebecca Holder of Baker University. Schaardt then won a three-hole playoff to win the tournament.
Schaardt will represent the conference at the NAIA Women’s Golf Championship, May 21-24, at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln.
Baker University was the team champion with a 747 total. Central Methodist was second and Graceland third. Peru State was fourth in the team standings with a 787 total.
Courtney Musgrave finished 10th for the Bobcats with a 190 total, Katie Potter tied for 16th with a 193, and Jacey Stoner tied for 26th place with a 221 total.
