Every year top track athletes in each classification compete against each other at Cessna Stadium in Wichita in 18 events on Friday May 24th and Saturday May 25th. This year over 230 Kanzaland area athletes from the Twin Valley Valley League, Delaware Valley League, Big Seven League and two other schools will compete at the state level competition.

Sixty two Regional championships were captured by are athletes while 21 teams took home top five finishes at their respective Regional competitions, this past Friday.

In Class 1A, Centralia Panther boys and B&B Falcon girls took home Regional championships, while Washington County girls in 2A also grabbed a Regional title.

Clifton-Clyde, Valley Heights and Axtell boys all finished in the top five, taking second, third and fourth, respectively in Class 1A; on the girls side Linn took home second, Valley Heights placed fourth and Hanover and Axtell tied for fifth place.

In Class 2A, Washington County boys took home a third place, with Jefferson County North grabbing fifth. Class 3A, featured Big Seven League teams and Marysville from the area. The Nemaha Valley Raiders and Marysville girls and boys both finished in the top five team finishes. For the Raiders their boys team took fifth, while the Lady Raiders took fourth. The Bulldogs took home a pair of third place finishes by their girls and boys teams. Sabetha lady Bluejays grabbed a fifth place finish and Hiawatha Redhawk boys took the best team finish in 3A with a second place.

In Class 4A, Holton Wildcat and Royal Valley Panther boys took home third and fourth respectively in the Royal Valley Regional, while Perry Lecompton boys placed fifth in the Baldwin Regional.
