Top Field Competes in Syracuse Cross Country Invitational

 The Syracuse Invitational Cross Country Meet was held Friday with 14 boys teams and girls from 13 school participating. 

Plattsmouth won the girls team title with 25 points,  Syracuse was s8th with 100, Fals City was 10th with 155.  Auburn and Johnson County Central did not have team scores.

For the boys,  Elkhorn Mt. Michael won the championship with 14 points, Syracuse placed fifth with 85, Johnson County Central was 8th with 160, Falls City was 12th with 220 points and Auburn was 13th with 226.

Individually for the Tigers to top finisher for the girls was Lainey Larsen in 31st place.   For the boys Kyle Leafty was to top runner finishing in 34th place.
