Nemaha Valley Raiders entertained three fellow Big Seven League teams on Monday in a league quad competition on the golf course and it was the Raiders perhaps using home cooking to their favor winning the league quad.
Raiders took home first place with the best 4-Man team score posting a 169 score, 14 strokes better than second place finishers Jeff West who had a team score of 183. Hiawatha finished just behind Jeff West in third with a team score of 186 while Santa Fe Trail didn't have enough golfers to field a 4-Man team.
Nemaha Valley was led to their victory by three of the top five rounds of the day as senior, Caleb Meyer who's been slowed by foot surgery after basketball, took home the best individual round of the day posting a 39. His teammates Zach Bradley and Dylan Enneking finished third and fifth, respectively with rounds of 43 each.
Second place went to Jeff West Tiger, Aaron Brooks who finished just one-stroke behind Meyer posting a 40 on the day, while Hiawatha's, Josh Sangrait placed fourth with a 43 on the day.
