(KLZA) -- The Mound City girls and Rock Port boys are the champions of the Class I Sectional track meet held Saturday in Kearney, Missouri.

The Panther girls scored 103 points for the title,  Polo was second with 80, Nodaway-Holt placed 8th with 39, Rock Port was 11th with 27, North Andrew was 12th with 26, Tarkio 17th with 10 and South Holt scored 6 points for 19th place in the 24 tam field. 

The Rock Port boys held off 21 other teams to win the title.  The Blue Jays total 77 points, St. Joe Christian was second with 71, Mound City 9th with 37, Tarkio 13th with 22 points, South Holt 14th with 21 and Nodaway-Holt was 17th with 16 points. 

The top 4 finishers in each event at the Sectional Meet have qualified for the State Meet May 23rd and 24th in Jefferson City at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
