(KLZA)-- The South Holt Girls and Mound City Boys are the Champions of the 

56th Annual Mound City Invitational Basketball Tournament. 

Friday night the South Holt Girls came from behind to defeat Mound City 53-47.  Emily Cox led the Knights with 26 points, McKenzie Prussman scored 11 in the title game.

Emily Wedlock led Mound City with 14 and Kendey Eaton scored 13.

Saturday night the boys title game went to overtime before top-seed Mound City could defeat West Nodaway 56-55. 

Jaden Gillenwater led the Panthers with 25 points in the final.  Mile Loucks also scored 10.  Trevor Meyer led West Nodaway with 20.

The Nodaway-Holt Boys placed third with a victory over North Nodaway  510-41, and the Fairfax Girls beat Nodaway-Holt in the third place game 53-41.  Ryan Hopkins led Fairfax with 25 points and Jaylee Holmes had 20 for Nodaway-Holt.
