The Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star have released their All-State Football and Volleyball selections for the seasons completed in November.
Area athletes honored include:
All-State Football
Class D2 – from Falls City Sacred Heart
Austin Malone – senior as a Defensive back in World Herald as an Athlete in Lincoln Journal Star.
Sawyer Kearn – senior – running back in Lincoln Journal Star.
Zavan Kirkendall – senior – linebacker – Lincoln Journal Star.
Class C-2 – from Freeman – Scott Adams – Senior – defensive line – Lincoln Journal Star.
Jacob Buhr – senior – linebacker – Lincoln Journal Star.
Class C-1 - from Syracuse – Matt Clark – Senior – Offensive linemen – Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World Herald.
