The Atchison Redmen started off the second half portion of the wrestling season at the Bonner Springs Invitational, competing against 11 other teams.

At the end of the day the Redmen just were able to register 25 total points, finishing just 11th out of 12 teams, as Bellevue East placed first (172 points).

The Redmen grapplers were unable to notch medal performances on the day, but several wrestlers did register some wins on the day. Andrew Adrian (120lbs) and the team's best performance finishing with a 3-2 record with three pinfall wins (4:00, 2:10 and 4:17).

Dalton Armstrong (138lbs) posted a 2-2 record on the mat for the Redmen at the Bonner Springs Invitational, picking up two pinfall wins in 3:24 and 1:14.

Spencer Vice (132lbs), Gio Burke (138lbs), Collin Moranz (145lbs) all three picked up one win at their respective weight classes.

Three other Atchison Redmen, Me'Kenzie Vice (106lbs), Arihanna Franklin (113lbs), Henry Ramsey (152lbs) and Caleb Pierce (160lbs) all also competed on the day.

Atchison will take to the mats again this season on Wednesday January 21st when they square off with ACCHS in Effingham in a dual.
