A signing ceremony was held Wednesday at Falls City High School for Krystal Samqua.  The Falls City senior signed a letter of intent to join the Swim Team at Morningside College in Sioux City Iowa. 

Mustangs Coach Bryan Farris expects her to swim the butterfly and freestyle events.  

Samqua comes from a unique circumstance, that Falls City Hgih School does not have a swim team and she will be earning scholarship money to attend college.  Farris says usually his swimmers come from bigger communities and have school and club experience. He noted though if someone has the talent and desire to participate in college, it doesn’t matter where they come from. 

Samqua has competed with the Falls City Swim Team in the summers coached by Roger Lampe.
