The volleyball season rolled along for four area teams on Saturday as they competed against each other with two other teams at the Jeff West Invitational in round robin tournament action. 

Jeff West Tigers hosted Valley Falls, Royal Valley, Oskaloosa, Santa Fe Trail and Silver Lake on Saturday in a round robin volleyball tournament action that featured plenty of highly competitive action. The Silver Lake Eagles picked up the tournament win by going 5-0 on the day with every win coming in straight sets. The second, third and fourth place teams all finished the tournament going 3-2 in action. Santa Fe Trail earned second place, while Valley Falls took third and Royal Valley fourth as it went to the second tiebreaker after head-to-head, that being defensive points, determining the team finishing order. The host Jeff West wrapped up their day going 1-4 to place fifth and Oskaloosa finished 0-5 and took sixth place. 

For the third place Valley Falls Dragons they picked up wins over Santa Fe Trail (19-25, 25-23, 25-17), Oskaloosa (25-7, 25-10) and Jeff West (25-15, 25-23), while falling to Royal Valley in three sets (25-23, 23-25, 25-27) and Silver Lake in two sets (13-25, 14-25). 

Royal Valley just like Valley Falls and Santa Fe Trail had a 3-2 day picking up the three set win over Valley Falls, while also beating Jeff West in three sets (26-28, 28-26, 25-22) and Oskaloosa in straight sets (25-19, 25-17. The Panthers two losses came at the hands of Silver Lake in straight sets (14-25, 13-25) and Santa Fe Trail in three sets (25-18, 21-25, 22-25). 

The host Jeff West Tigers lone win of the day came against Oskaloosa in straight sets (25-12, 25-17), while falling to Royal Valley in three sets and in straight sets to Valley Falls, Silver Lake (11-25, 16-25) and Santa Fe Trail (24-26, 17-25). 

Oskaloosa struggled on the day losing all their matches to finish the tournament 0-5, falling in straight sets each time to Royal Valley, Valley Falls, Jeff West, Silver Lake (8-25, 10-25) and Santa Fe Trail (13-25, 15-25).
