Rossville Boys Golf Invitational Results (5-2-17) - click here

The Sabetha Bluejays boy's golf team continues to fly high during picking up another top flight performance on Tuesday at the Rossville Invitational. 

Behind a team score of 312 the Bluejays won the Rossville Invitational with ease taking the team crown by 60 strokes, competing against golfers from Rossville, St. Mary's, Osage City and Silver Lake. 

The Top three scores on the day belonged to Sabetha with Garrett Scott leading the way posting a 72, while Jesse Burger and David Pierson finished second and third, respectively after posting rounds of 74 and 81. Reese Lierz, Brendan Rokey and Noah Garber all notched Top eight finishing scoring rounds of 85, 86 and 86 to finish sixth, seventh and eighth. 

Perry Lecompton was also in action at the meet and the Kaws were led by Nick Maloun who with a 93 finished 10th place. Christjen Schmidt shot a 97 for the Kaws and finished 13th, while Trevor Cunningham-Henry shot a 104. 

Both Sabetha and Perry Lecompton now turn their attention to the Big Seven League tournament next Wednesday, May 10th at Sabetha.
