The 2018 high school football season is coming up on a month away and with that Sports in Kansas has released the top 25 offensive lineman to watch for throughout all classes in the upcoming season.

Sabetha senior Elliot Strahm cracked the list after earning a First Team All-Big 7 League selection on the offensive line last season, while also being named the 3A defensive player of the year by Sports in Kansas as well.

Strahm helped guide Sabetha to a 13-1 record and a 3A State football championship last season, while also individually claiming a 3-2-1A State Wrestling Title at 285 pounds with a 39-8 record.

Sabetha is expected to be one of the top-ranked teams at the start of the season in 3A, with Strahm expected to lead the way in the trenches.

While Strahm was the only area athlete to crack the top 25 list Royal Valley had two guys make the others to watch for category in juniors Komesh Spoonhunter and Jaiden Wamego.

Spoonhunter is coming off a strong sophomore season in which he was named an Honorable Mention All-Big 7 League selection, while Wamego is entering his second season starting at the varsity level after starting at left tackle for the Panthers a season ago.

Royal Valley finished 4-5 overall last season including a 3-4 record in the Big 7 League and will look upon Spoonhunter and Wamego to lead the way in the upcoming 2018 season.
