Preston Bruss (Bennet) and Ryan Ludlow (Plattsmouth), Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat football players, were named to the Omaha World-Herald's All-Nebraska NAIA Team as announced on Christmas Day.  The selections are based off coaches and sports information directors voting with final determinations made by World-Herald sports staff writer Marjie Ducey.

Bruss was named to the All-Nebraska NAIA defense while Ludlow earned his on the offensive team.  Both Bruss and Ludlow had earned similar honors in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) as announced earlier.

Bruss, a senior linebacker who wrapped up his Bobcat career, finished ranked 19th in the NAIA in tackles per game with 10.10.  In addition, Bruss was listed among the leaders in several categories in the HAAC.

A sophomore, Ludlow finished ranked in the NAIA Top 50 rankings in eight different categories after his outstanding season as a running back.  Ludlow finished the season ranked first in scoring touchdowns per game and in scoring per game (13.100).

Also gaining All-Nebraska NAIA Honorable Mention were junior Garret Campbell (Santee, Calif.), sophomore Tyler Ford (Lincoln), junior Zach Lempka (Sterling), and junior Curtis Larsen (Plattsmouth).

All but Bruss will be returning for Peru State next fall when the Bobcats begin their 2013 campaign at home on August 31 against the Dakota State University Trojans.
