Three Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat volleyball players received honorable mention recognition as part of the Omaha-World Herald's All-Nebraska NAIA volleyball team.

Seniors Emily Maresh (Central City) and Tara Gonzalez (Lincoln) were joined by sophomore Courtney Jurek (Bellevue) in earning the honor as voted on by coaches and sports information directors from across the state.  World-Herald sports staff writer Marjie Ducey makes the final selections and announced the honors on Christmas Day.

All three Bobcats were previously recognized as Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) honorees.  Maresh, a libero, earned her second straight HAAC Second Team honor.  Gonzalez, a right-side hitter, joined Maresh on the Second Team while Jurek, a setter, earned honorable mention status.

Maresh was the only Bobcat to finish in the Top 50 in terms of individual rankings in the NAIA.  Maresh finished 20th in digs per game (5.390) and 31st in total digs (642).  At the end of the season, Maresh was the HAAC's top digger.

Both Gonzalez and Jurek were among the HAAC leaders respectively in hitting and setting categories.
