KVA Releases Week Four Rankings

The Kansas Volleyball Association released their final rankings for the month of September after week four of action and there was some movement at all levels.

The Thunder of Nemaha Central continue to show that they are the best team in class 3A after going 8-0 last week and remaining ranked number one in the state. They are now an unprecedented 25-1 with the best win percentage in 3A.

Royal Valley went 1-1 in their home triangular with a loss to Hiawatha, so they fell two spots in the rankings to number nine. Their record on the season is now 15-4.

In Class 2A, Jackson Heights remains at number seven in the state with a 13-2 overall record and a record of 3-1 last week.

Doniphan West checks in at number four once again in Class 1A – Division 1 and went a perfect 5-0 this past week to improve their record to 18-2.

Centralia falls one spot to number eight after going 3-1 in week four. The Panthers are now 17-4 this season.

In Class 1A – Division 2, Hanover had a flawless 5-0 week four and improve to 18-2 on the season. However, they remain at number three in the most recent poll.
