The Sub-State assignments have been made for the high school volleyball postseason with many area schools hosting. Sub-state tournaments will occur on Saturday, October 22nd.

Nemaha Central will host with Maur-Hill Mount, Atchison County, Hiawatha, Royal Valley, KC Bishop Ward, Jefferson West, and Sabetha all participating. Also, in 3A Perry-Lecompton will go to Silver Lake for its sub-state assignment. The class 3A state tournament is on October 28-29th.

In Class 2A, Jefferson County North will host Pleasant Ridge, Horton, Jackson Heights, McLouth, Oskaloosa, Valley Falls, and Riverside. Valley Heights will be at St. Mary’s. The state tournament will be at Dodge City on October 28th and 29th.

Centralia will host a Class 1A D1 sub-state tournament with Burlingame, Frankfort, Doniphan West, Bishop Seabury, Onaga and Troy participating.

Clifton-Clyde hosts a tournament with Lincoln, Rock Hills, Blue Valley-Randolph, Sylvan-Lucas, and Washington County playing as well. Class 1A DI will also be in Dodge City for their state tournament.

In Class 1A DII, Hanover will host a tournament with Axtell, Junction City-St. Xavier, Linn, Olathe-Kansas School for the Deaf, Wakefield, and Wetmore participating. The state tournament will be at the Emporia Recreation Commission on October 28th and 29th.
