Doniphan West won two matches on their senior night to stay unbeaten in Twin Valley League play in their home triangular against Axtell and Frankfort. Doniphan West senior Kyra Johnson celebrated her milestone of 1,500 career assists with her teammates and family.

The fourth-ranked Mustangs (22-2, 12-0) won in two straight sets against Frankfort by a score of 25-19, 25-19.

Frankfort (16-11, 6-7) was then able to escape the triangular with a victory during their two-set sweep over Axtell 25-15, 25-20.

Axtell (5-23, 2-10) struggled early but was more competitive in the second set in their 25-3, 25-17 loss to Doniphan West.

There are only a few weeks left in the regular season before regionals begin on October 22nd.
