The Oskaloosa girls wrestling program shined bright at the 4-1A State Tournament in Salina this week as both sophomore Holly Thacher and senior Allison King both won State Titles for a second consecutive season.
Thacher won all four of her matches to repeat at 105 while King also won all four of her matches to repeat at 155.
Thacher's first win of the tournament was by pinfall with her other three matches by decision including a 2-1 final in the championship.
King was dominant as three of her four wins were by pinfall including a second round pin in the championship match.
Thacher will finish the season 32-2 while King finishes her senior season with a record of 34-1. King also had a runner-up finish at state during her sophomore season.
