2023 Regional Boys and Girls Golf Tournament Assignments

KSHSAA has released its regional locations for the end of the boys and girls golf season.

4A – Holton Regional

Holton will host a regional tournament in their own backyard at Holton Country Club in hopes to get to state. Atchison will also be playing in the regional along with Baldwin, Eudora, Ottawa, Bishop Miege, Tonganoxie, Hayden and Wamego. HCC is a nine-hole golf course.

3A – Sabetha Regional

Sabetha is hosting a regional at Sabetha Golf Course, a nine-hole golf course, with many area teams competing as well. Maur Hill Mount Academy, Hiawatha, Royal Valley, Marysville, Jefferson West, Rossville, Nemaha Central and Silver Lake will all compete for the right to play in the Class 3A state tournament.

3A – Osage City Regional

Perry-Lecompton will not be competing in the Sabetha regional, but instead will be heading further south to Osage City to compete in their regional tournament. They will compete with Santa Fe Trail, Anderson County, Prairie View, Heritage Christian, Osawatomie, West Franklin and Wellsville. Osage City is also just a nine-hole golf course.

2A – Uniontown Regional

Horton and Oskaloosa will be competing at the Uniontown High School regional tournament at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Fort Scott. They will be competing against golfers from Erie, Lyndon, Jayhawk Linn, St. Mary’s Colgan, KC Christian, Maranatha Christian and Cair Paravel.

2A – Sacred Heart Regional

Sacred Heart from Salina will be hosting a regional tournament at the Salina Municipal Golf Course with Valley Heights competing. Also there playing will be Wabaunsee, Berean Academy, Herington, Hillsboro, Inman, Marion, Sedgwick, St. Marys and Whitewater-Remington.

1A – Centralia Regional

Centralia will be hosting a regional at Spring Creek Golf Course in Seneca. Other area teams competing are Frankfort, Onaga, Washington County and Hanover. Hartford, Bishop Seabury, Lost Springs-Centre, Olpe and Solomon will also play.

All tournaments mentioned will be played on Monday, May 15th.
