The Clifton Clyde track and field teams competed on Friday afternoon at the Bennington Invitational.
There was a total of 13 teams competing in the events. Those teams were Clifton Clyde, Bennington, Canton-Galva, Ell-Saline, Remington, Herrington, Lincoln, Rock Hills, Rural Vista, St. Johns, Tescott, Wakefield, and Wilson.
The Eagle boys had a first-place finish with Colby Garrison in the 100-meter dash while the Eagle girls had multiple first-place finishes.
Calyn Baker won the discus, Whitley Sikes and Destiny Rockers tied for the top mark in the pole vault, and Sevy Wurtz won both the long jump and triple jump.
