The Royal Valley softball team has claimed the 2023 Big 7 League Title after sweeping Sabetha at home on Monday night 11-6 and 5-3. 

The Panthers finished with a league record of 12-2 which was two games ahead of last year's champion Holton. 

The only two losses for the Panthers in Big 7 league play this season were against Holton on April 13 and Jefferson West on April 17. 

They finish the regular season with a record of 14-6 and they have won seven straight games. They have the third best record in the Silver Lake regional with Silver Lake in the top spot and Rossville right behind them. 

Other teams in that Regional include Hiawatha, ACCHS, Jefferson West, Nemaha Central and Sabetha.
