The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches have released their latest rankings for the beginning of May.
Onaga moves down a couple of spots to #6 in Class 2-1A while Valley Falls jumped back into the rankings this week to #8.
The Buffaloes were #4 in the previous rankings and are 13-3 while the Dragons are 12-4 despite being swept by NEKL Champs Oskaloosa on Monday.
Onaga is coming off a Monday split vs. St. Marys Academy and have won four of their last five games and seven of their last nine.
Onaga is set to host Valley Falls on Thursday afternoon with a doubleheader starting at 4:30 PM. KNZA 103.9 FM will carry the first game with pregame coverage around 4:20 PM.
