The Corning Legion baseball team continued their strong play Wednesday night at home with a 14-3 four-inning win over Seneca.
Corning's offense was strong as they hit five home runs in the game with 11 total hits.
They scored five in the first, five in the second, two in the third, and two in the fourth to finish off the win.
J.T. Ross led the charge and was named the KNZA McDonald's of Hiawatha and Seneca player of the game as he finished with two home runs, one double, four RBI and three runs scored.
Zac Fisher, Kyler Wommack, and Rayce Fisher also hit home runs for Corning.
Seneca's three runs were off the bat of Jonah Deters as he hit a three-run home run in the third inning.
Corning would win the second game of the doubleheader 17-7 in four innings.
With the sweep, Corning is 9-1 over their last 10 games while Seneca has dropped five of their last six games.
