The Northeast Kansas League has announced that Troy and Riverside will become members of the league to begin the 2024-25 school year.
The league now has 11 schools.
The two new additions will join ACCHS, Horton, Jackson Heights, Jefferson County North, Maur Hill-Mount Academy, McLouth, Oskaloosa, Pleasant Ridge and Valley Falls.
NEKL President Joe Worthington said in a press release, “We are thrilled to include our neighboring schools, Troy and Riverside, into the NEKL. They are outstanding programs that will only add to the quality of our competitions in the NEKL. As president, it was my honor to welcome them into the league.” Worthington is also the Principal at Jefferson County North.
