The KWCA has released its first set of rankings for February.
In the girls Class 4-1A rankings, Holly Thacher moves up one spot in the 115-pound weight class rankings to number five in the state. Thacher is also number five in the all-class rankings and ranked third among girls in the 4-1A class. The KWCA ranked Thacher ahead of two girls in the all-class rankings and she is placed behind in the 4-1A rankings.
Leighanna Patz from McLouth is up one spot from last week’s rankings to number three in the 135-pound class. Patz is also ranked number six in the all-class rankings.
Marysville’s Ella Johnson remains at number three in the 145-pound weight class. Johnson is also ranked number nine in the all-class rankings.
In the 4A boys rankings, Holton’s Cale Hein remains number five in the 144-pound weight class. Hein’s teammate, Dalton Roush, holds on to his number ranking from last week in the 215-pound class. Roush is also ranked number ten in the all-class rankings.
ACCHS dropped two sports in the 3-2-1A team rankings to number five this week. Adler Koontz is ranked fourth in the 126-pound class, Austin Smith is also number four in the 138-pound class, Max Bottorff is number five in the 150-pound class and Easton Schletzbaum remains the number one-ranked wrestler in the 157-pound weight class. He’s also the number three-ranked wrestler in the all-class rankings.
After making a move last week, Keaton Rottinghaus from Nemaha Central remains number four this week in the 113-pound weight class.
Sabetha’s Cullen Wikle is once again ranked number five in the 132-pound class. Colin Menold, also a Bluejay, remains at number two in the 150-pound class. Menold is also ranked number nine in the all-class rankings.
Abram Keim of Nemaha Central also doesn’t move in the latest rankings as he checks in at number four in the 165-pound weight class.
