It was the Axtell boys and Centralia girls who claimed the TVL cross country titles on Thursday at Cool Springs Golf Course. 

The boys race was won by Axtell's Gavin Shaughnessy with a time of 17:36.89. The top five was rounded out by Titus Cobb (Blue Valley-Randolph), Cohen Girard (Clifton-Clyde), Kristopher Fulkerson (Centralia), and Kebeb Zimmerman (Valley Heights). 

Following Axtell in the team standings was Clifton-Clyde, Centralia, Valley Heights, Doniphan West, and Washington County. 

The Centralia girls posted the top team score as they finished in front of Axtell. 

The race was won by Washington County's McKenzie Baker followed by Belle Smith (Doniphan West), Claire Buessing (Axtell), Kya Franklin (Centralia), and Keelyn Rempe (Centralia).
