The Troy basketball teams picked up an NEKL sweep on Friday night at home against ACCHS with both teams posting dominant wins. 

Girls: ACCHS 41, Troy 59

This game featured two of the top scorers in the state with Harper Whetstine of Troy and Kinzee Baurele of ACCHS. 

Whetstine entered the week averaging 28.8 points/game which was #2 in the state while Baurele was averaging 25.8 which was the seventh most in the state. 

Whetstine led the charge once again as she scored 33 points and added eight rebounds while Baurele finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds. 

The Trojans led 18-7 after the first quarter and 29-16 at halftime. 

Allie Franken added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Troy while ACCHS got 10 points from Ava Speer. 

Boys: ACCHS 37, Troy 81

The boys game was all about the Trojans as they wasted no time jumping out on the Tigers in the opening quarter. 

Troy led 29-9 at the end of the first quarter and they built that to 54-17 at halftime. 

Troy had 12 players score in the game and they had three in double figures. They were led by Hunter Engemann with 16 points while Sawyer Ashburn finished with 11 points and Kaston Jasper with 10 points. 

The Tigers got 18 points and six rebounds from Caden Behrnes and they also got 11 points and five rebounds from Henry Urban.
